| T. beigelii closely resembles Candida albicans morphologically. Both blastospores and hyphae are formed. Microbial culture is needed for differential diagnosis. | In T. beigelii infection, Y-shaped branching is discernible. Weak stainiablity by Grocott's silver is also experienced (Grocott). | |
