| Mild chronic inflammation with inflammatory edema is seen in the medium-sized bronchus. Due to autolysis, the ciliated cells have been detached off (HE). | Ciliated cells are accumulated in the lumen of small bronchi, where inflammatory change is minimal (HE). | |
